At the time being there is a highly popular TV
show running on in Norway, "Korslaget"
(Battle of the Choruses), a competition where seven
choirs are participating. Dance With a Stranger's
vocalist Øiving "ELG" Elgenes is
one of the favourites to win on the competition.
Elg has assembled and is conducting a chorus of
highly qualified amateurs from his home town Kristiansund.
The Norwegian Concert Institute has engaged Dance
With a Stranger's composer and acclaimed guitarist,
Frode Alnæs, to lead the music ensemble through
an extensive tour with the performance "Rock
'n Roots". The show tour venues all over Norway
in the Fall of 2009 and early Spring 2010.
