Continental Artist Management is Norway’s longest established
professional artist management company. It is also one of
the most dynamic and successful. Barry Matheson, who has been
in the music business since 1959, is President and CEO. Continental's
and Barry Matheson’s activities hail from the 1960’s
as a manager for The Vanguards with Terje Rypdal. Today, Continental
Artist Management is the exclusive management for Secret Garden,
Sissel Kyrkjebø, Odd Nordstoga and
Dance With A Stranger.
Through the years the company has successfully
worked to achieve success for its artists both domestically
(Dance With A Stranger - Double Diamond CD sales) and internationally
(Secret Garden with 3 million worldwide sales).
President and CEO Barry Matheson is also a
board member of IFPI Norway and GGF (The Record Wholesalers
Association).
